Apple Avocado "Chatt pataa" Chaat

 


Ingredients:
  1. Apple * - Green apple that's sweet and sour works best for this recipe!
  2. Avocado * - Good fats
  3. Carrot
  4. Onions
  5. Celantro
  6. Green chillies to taste
  7. Mango - Green raw
  8. Puffed Rice/Murmura
  9. Sev/Farsan
  10. Dry roasted Peanuts
  11. Dry roasted Pumpkin seeds
  12. Dry roasted Melon seeds
  13. Red chilli powder
  14. Chaat Masala
  15. Dry roasted jeera/Cumin seeds powder
  16. Salt to taste

Method: Slice up apples to thickness of your preference. Now top this up layer of avocado slices and then with a mix of diced onions, green chillies, grated carrot, celantro, grated raw mango. Sprinkle chaat masala, red chilli powder, salt, Jeera powder. And then finally top them up with Puffed Rice, Sev, peanuts and enjoy this amazingly simple quick healthy and delicious chat pataa chaat with a twist!

You can go so very creative with lots of variations to this as per your taste buds! You may replace chillies and chilli powder with spicy green mint and celantro chutney. Sweet and sour lovers, may add sweet and sour date chutney for that extra kick!

If you are cutting down on carbs and going healthy, reduce the amount of puff rice and Sev and increase peanuts and seeds of your choice or that is handy or add fried makhana!

Avocado also is another big healthy twist here that has very beneficial healthy fats that can help cut down the bad cholesterol and improve good cholesterol
